When I opened up the phone bill I almost fell through the floor. It was almost three times more than the last one and I know for a fact that I hadn’t been talking to my friends any more than I usually do over the last three months. I scanned down the list of outgoing calls and realised straight away that the same number kept coming up. It was a premier number and the amount charged each time the number was dialled ranged from between five and thirty pounds! I also noticed that on some days the number had been dialled more than once. The most obvious explanation for this was that my husband had been calling phone sex numbers whilst I was out of the house. The only way I could prove it for sure was to dial the number myself to see who answered it. I wasn’t sure if I was ready for this but I dialled it anyway.
